2015-31: Shifting paradigms and their effect on preferred techniques for eyelid reconstruction
Eyelid reconstruction after tumor excision is based on restoring the function and cosmetic aspect of the tissue. Different techniques performed under local anaesthetics have been developed for this purpose. Each technique has its own strengths and drawbacks, as well as side effects, including donor-site morbidity. It will be assessed whether there is a difference in the frequency of one-step versus two-step procedures chosen for reconstruction of eyelid defects between two cohorts.
