2008-01: Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography for Glaucoma Diagnostics
Investigator Initiated Research
Inclusion open since 1-9-2008
Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography (SDOCT) holds a promise to replace all currently existing test strategies for glaucoma diagnosis. SDOCT has, however, not been explored on a large scale in a clinical setting. This current study aims to explore the diagnostic accuracy and measurement reproducibility of SDOCT in a large group of patients in a clinical setting. SDOCT will be compared with standard techniques on structural measurements of optic nerve head and surrounding retinal nerve fibre layer, and with functional measurements of visual fields.
